The Anthony
1905 Grade 290
A mechanical watch for a mechanical engineer. Chatting with Anthony about why he was interested in one of these old beauties was really fun. I even learned a few new terms. Better than the mechanical vernacular that Anthony added to my repertoire was his story.
Anthony's grandfather arrived in South Bend via train and worked at Bendix Corporation for 40 years. A few mergers later, Bendix became Honeywell which is where Anthony works. Pretty neat connection!

Fun fact: 290 is a special grade to us. My first South Bend was a 290 and the same goes for Nick.
